Uses and Applications: Zinc stearate can be used as a heat stabilizer; lubricant; grease; accelerator; thickener, etc. For example, it is generally used as a heat stabilizer for PVC resin. It is used in general industrial transparent products; when combined with calcium soap, it can be used in non-toxic products. This product is mostly used in soft products, but in recent years, it has also been applied in hard transparent products such as mineral water bottles and water supply pipes. It has good lubricity, can improve scaling and precipitation phenomena, and can also serve as a lubricant, release agent, flatting agent for paints, and additive for coatings.
